Policy brief & purpose
DD&D's parental leave policy outlines the company’s provisions for employees who are expecting a child, adopting, and/or require time to care and bond with their newborn.
The company endorses the right of its employees to become parents. We are also aware that pregnancy or caring for an infant or a newly adopted child may cause difficulties for them in relation with their job duties.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees of DD&D.
How much time do employees get for parental leave?

Is maternity leave paid or unpaid?

Procedure
The expectant parent must adhere to the following procedure:

The employee will be officially notified of the approval of their request, after eligibility under the policy has been evaluated. The document they will receive will clearly state the length of the maternity leave with the beginning and end dates. Additional benefits such as pay will also be explicitly explained.
